MY COMMENTS

I must admit, I never thought I would ever  form an indie label.  But time has dictated a need to be self-reliant.  I have great examples to draw on like those provided by people like Johnnie Mae Matthews from back in my Detroit  days or  from Prince, who in recent years has encouraged many  writer/artists, by his example,  to take charge of their own careers. It was the right decision for me to make.

 That steady hum of  music  coming from Detroit was heard all over the world and I was fortunate  to be a part of it.  All of us who were there could feel that it was a special time for music like no other.

 I am pleased  to have  this opportunity to fully express my  talents for all to hear and more importantly .......to enjoy!

backstage at the Mariott Hotel, Manhattan Beach,CA. Sharon performed her title track,'Somebody Else' which was well received and sold several copies of her CD to an excited audience!  Her performance was also  mentioned in an article covering that event in the Los Angeles Sentinel newspaper.
